Tirana Mayor, Lulzim Basha, who declared during the electoral campaign that he was against the demolition of the Pyramid, said during an interview for Voice of America that there is a rule of law and the Municipality has to respect it.
Basha declared that Tirana City Hall is open to hear the citizens.
“I am against the demolition of the Pyramid, but I approve the construction of the new Parliament”, Basha declared.
“The demolition of the Pyramid has been approved by the Parliament and the Municipality respects the rule of law”, he underlined.
Basha declared that Tirana Municipality should be kept outside the political conflicts, and that it should be turned into an institution that is concentrated only on the citizens interest.
