Basha at Municipal Division no. 10

The residents have expressed their concern on parking places and taxes.

“If this road is Tirana’s main artery, than it is the most amortized. They took off the free parking places and put on taxes”, one businesswoman said.

“Publicity taxes are very high. We pay 1.200.000 leks only for publicity”, another one complained.

During his meetings with the residents of Durrësi Street and Myslym Shyri Street, Basha heard their problems regarding road infrastructure.

“Senior citizens need quietness, amusement, but we haven’t been able to find it anywhere”, says an elderly woman.

Another one thanked Basha for the EU visa lifting. “I have one child in Strasburg and another one in Belgium. Thanks to you I was able to visit them. I don’t know how to repay you for this”, she said.

During these meetings, the candidate for Tirana Mayor heard the citizens’ problems and promised solutions.

Meanwhile, Socialist Party reacted to the meeting that Basha held earlier with the students, accusing him of false promises.

“Berisha’s candidate has promised the ‘student card’ for the students. This was promised even by his ‘father’, Sali Berisha, but no one has received it. We want to say to Basha and his ‘father’ that we do not fall for it”, declared Socialist Party’s coordinator, Erjon Veliaj.
