Albanian Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs condemns hate speech in Manastir

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania reacted today, expressing its regret and condemning the hate speech used against Albanians on public spaces of Manastir, Macedonia.

“It is not the first time that Manastir, the historic city of the Albanian Language Congress, is intentionally and unacceptably attacked by persons who want to spread hate, division and tension between communities. The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs encourages the Macedonian authorities to investigate and make the people responsible held accountable for the attacks which go against the spirit of coexistence and harmony throughout Macedonia and the region”, the statement of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs says.
