Albanian Mark Gjonaj wins councilor race in Bronx, USA

An Albanian won the race between Democrats in the USA, Bronx, New York.

Mark Gjonaj is the councilor candidate for the Municipality of New York, winning against his rival with 4% more votes.

Gjonaj is an Albanian from Ulqin. Gjonaj raised more than 700.000 US Dollars, a record for the Municipal Council since 1989.
