Albania and Croatia, Montenegro’s advocates in NATO

Albania, Croatia and Montenegro join forces against the challenges that stop the Euro-Atlantic integration of Southeastern Europe.

In a joint declaration after the meeting of both foreign Ministers in Durres, the three countries promise to cooperate against forces that threaten the stability and security of the Euro-Atlantic area.

“Strategic communication and credible integration processes will need to be accelerated, in order to oppose these influences that damage our elasticity, consolidating the stability and security in Southeastern Europe”, says the joint declaration of the trilateral meeting of the Adriatic countries.

“Our voices in the NATO, and also in other structures, including the EU integration ones, are more powerful when we are together. Croatia will not only be a good advocate for our two aspiring countries, but will also offer real support with its expertise”, declared the Albanian Minister, Ditmir Bushati.

As regards good neighboring, Bushati said that the progress of talks with Greece is on the right track.

The Albanian Foreign Minister encouraged Kosovo to find an acceptable solution with the border demarcation matter with Montenegro.
