Former negotiator of Kosovo status, Marty Ahtisari, expressed his
hope that Ratko Mladic’s arrest will bring a radical change in Serbia’s
relations with neighboring countries.
Through a press release published on the web page of Crisis Management Initiation, Ahtisari declared that the arrest of the much wanted war criminal is extremely important.
“I hope that we will witness a new approach of Serbia towards the newly independent state of Kosovo”, former Finnish president declared.
Mladic’s arrest was greeted from all over the world, from EU to US leaders.
