The National Food Authority has blocked 4.032 tons of marmalade at the Han i Hotit border checkpoint.
The product was about to enter Shkoder, but it was past half of its expiration period, which is against the law.
The National Food Authority blocked their entrance in Albania and the load was taken back to the country of origin.
“Food safety is a priority of our work and we are never tolerating abusers”, the NFA announced today in a press release.
