Albanian immigrants in Greece make the highest number of foreigners who have received Greek citizenship during 2017.
The data were published by EUROSTAT, the European Agency of Statistics. Greek media say that 86.8% of 34.305 citizens who received citizenship in 2017 were Albanians; 1.3% Ukrainians; 1.1% Moldavians.
According to the European data, 2017 had 3% more citizens receiving Greek citizenship than 2016.
