US Antiterror trains Albanian officials for online investigation

12 investigators from the Antiterror Unit and Cybernetic Crime have completed the training organized by the US Anti-terror Training Assistance program, in coordination with the regional Security Office at the US Embassy.
These training courses have increased the knowledge of the participants regarding the ways how terrorists approach and use social media for their operations, including recruiting, spreading propaganda and coordinating activities.
The training is part of a 1.3 million USD program which supports the State Police and the Antiterror unit, in order to increase their capacities against terrorism.
