Thaci: “Border correction, a solution for both parties and for Balkan”

“Without a border agreement there is no European future for Kosovo or Serbia”, said the president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, in a press interview for France 25.
“My idea for correcting the borders between Kosovo and Serbia, concluding it with a final agreement and mutual recognition, would avoid having Kosovo divided through the Association of Serbian Commune, which means a new Srpska Republic. This is why I think that this solution is real and that it should be acceptable for both parties. It should also be welcomed by the democratic world”, Thaci said.
“This agreement will bring stability to the Balkan region, not the opposite. Those who speak about Pandora boxes don’t have a stable solution to propose”, Thaci said.
