Tahiri in Lezhe: “We will increase plice capacity”

Speaking from Lezha, after a meeting with the police structures of the area, Tahiri said that due to the recent criminal events, this district might have a more frequent presence of the Special Police.

“We are determined to increase the police capacity to serve citizens and establish with every police officer the mentality and philosophy of service to citizens. We think that there is still room for improvement, especially regarding the last criminal acts. For this reason we have planned a more frequent dislocation, and even permanent, to some areas of the district”, Tahiri declared.

According to the Minister of Interior, more than 200.000 phone calls have been made to the police since January 1st, and more than 25.000 reports have been done to the Digital Precinct, which means that the trust to the police has increased.
