SP: CEC covering citizens’ voice

The Socialist Party reacted after the Electoral College published the
explanatory arguments for their decision, reformulating the accusations
for election manipulation from the government of Prime Minister Berisha.

SP deputy Eduard Shalsi declared that Berisha added votes for making his candidate win the elections.

“The band of Sali Berisha in the Central Election Commission cannot speak in behalf of the Albanian citizens. The Albanians spoke, said their word, and their votes were counted. The votes that CEC took out of Berisha’s pocket were used for stealing the victory. CEC is not the voice of the citizens, but the voice of Sali Berisha”, Shalsi declared.

“We urge Lulzim Basha to stop this ugly game and turn those ballots back to his political father”, he continued.

Responding to the accusations of DP candidate Lulzim Basha for pressuring the Electoral College, Shalsi recalled the events that took place when Lulzim Basha was Interior Minister.

“He must be ashamed, because the spokesperson of the Berisha family is the last one that should talk. The Albanians have not forgotten the one who killed four citizens on January 21st, in the middle of the boulevard”, Shalsi added.
