Sequi visits Top Channel

An old and respected friend of “Top Media Group”, since when he was working as main diplomat of the Italian Embassy in Tirana, Mr. Sequi was updated on Top Media’s improvements during the years, by visiting some of the premises and studios of the TV station, specifically those that are located in the International Culture Center.

The EU ambassador visited the newsroom and different shows and programs studios, “Fiks Fare”, “Shqip”, “Pasdite në Top Channel”, “Select”.
Mr. Sequi continued his visit meeting with the “Top Media Group” President, Vjollca Hoxha, and with main departments’ directors.

One of the main discussions on this meeting was the significance of a free and qualitative media, underlining the importance of free speech and the way of passing the information to the public, a standard that Top-Channel always aims to guarantee for all Albanian public.

They also discussed the current television problematic and the need of guaranties for a normal media activity.
Top-Channel’s directors thanked EU ambassador for the help received from EU and from the ambassador himself for the protection, growth and functionality of free and independent media in Albania, especially Top Channel’s, as the foundation of a free and democratic society.

Mr. Sequi visited for some minutes the “Top Albania Radio” studios, especially “Top Gold Radio”, that according to him is always one of his preferred.

The ambassador visited the studios and personally watched the work performed in the radio.
