PM Rama: “National Football Arena has UEFA standards”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, returned from his visit in Turkey
and attended a meeting of the National Council of Restorations, in
which they spoke mainly on the culture monuments. But the main focus was
on the construction of the national football stadium in Tirana.
Rama said we are lucky to be able to build such a stadium in a city center, not in the suburbs, because it would make it a center of business and leisure, not something that comes to life only during football weekends. Rama added that the stadium will fulfill all UEFA requirements.
The government, according to Rama, will pay nothing for this stadium because the Federation will be co-owner of the stadium. Rama mentioned the stadium of Shkoder that is currently under construction, and the “Elbasan Arena”, both built with government funds.
