The Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, said that he appointed the agenda of
July 21st, considering it the most important session since it is about
passing constitutional amends that will reshape the justice system.
Meta said that the negotiators are working for two “very small” details that need consensus, based on the hybrid proposition presented by Victoria Nuland, a proposition that has the support of the USA and the EU.
He invited the negotiators to continue working, and as Parliament Speaker, said that discussions should be open and transparent for the media.
“MPs and the public opinion need to get acquainted with the content of these discussions”, Meta said, underlining that the session will not be closed without passing the law.
Meta said the institution led by him will turn Thursday into a day of national success, serving to justice and integration.
