The Constitutional Court has published the explanatory arguments of
their verdict that rejects the Parliament’s decision to not sent the
case of Koco Kokedhima for verification if there are conflicts between
his businesses and his mandate as MP.

The arguments show that the Parliament cannot put in discussion the motion presented to them, and cannot keep it for parliamentary discussion, but their decision is necessary for putting the Court in motion.

“If the MP has violated his constitutional Parliamentary mandate, this is a competence that belongs entirely to the Constitutional Court”, says the Constitutional Court.
