German businesses in Albania report more profit, better business climate

German businesses that have invested in Albania estimate that the economic situation in the country has improved.
The German Chamber of Commerce published the annual poll conducted among its member countries and the results have been more optimistic than in the past years.
“2018 has more positive than last year. The estimate has been this high only in 2015”, said Hartmut Jarosch, Executive Director of DIHA.
Most of the businesses reported higher revenues and they foresee more investments.
Businesses have also reported an improvement with the business climate, while the tax system remained problematic.
“The tax system has deteriorated. Tax offices and the public administration have received lower points than one year ago”, Jarosch said.
The German Chamber of Commerce include 90 German and Austrian companies with investments in various economic sectors.
