Former Minister Haxhinasto at Prosecution of Serious Crimes

The Minister of Transportation, Edmond Haxhinasto, was today at the Prosecution of Serious Crimes, where he is being questioned about the Tirana-Elbasan road procedures.

Two Directors have been arrested for corruption with road construction funds so far, and 11 other people working under them. The investigation could affect even Edmond Haxhinasto, MP of the Socialist Movement for Integration and former Minister of Transportation.

The former Minister is undergoing verification by the Prosecution of Serious Crimes, regarding the Tirana-Elbasan highway. The Minister had previously declared that he has only led the institution politically, and he considers this a political attack, which, according to him, will generate a harsh political response.
