Covid-19, Manastirliu: Rises to 773 number of infected, we are still in the active phase of the epidemic

During her speech in the plenary session of the Assembly, Albanian Health Minister, Ogerta Manastirliu announced that the number of infected with Covid-19 in Albania has reached 773 , while 470 persons are recovered.
She added that there are 272 actively ill patients with COVID-19 which means that the epidemic is still active in Albania, but numerous trackings of close contacts are being conducted.
“We are still in an active phase of the epidemic, we currently have 272 people actively affected by COVID19 and a lot of work is being done to break the chain of transmission of the infection.”
During her speech Manastirliu stated that the government will be very careful about the reopening phases.
“We are moving towards a reopening strategy, but we are being very careful. It is necessary to continue to respect the measures of distancing, which until now have given good results”, said Manastirliu, adding that the opening of a second series of businesses at the beginning of this week, was part of the reopening strategy by assessing the situation for the next two weeks.
