Police sources have said unofficially that the brother of the former
Minister of Justice, Enkelejd Alibeaj, was arrested on April 6th by the
Hamm police, after an armed robbery.
The same police sources say that their German colleagues have supplied them information that Taulant Alibeaj has presented an Albanian ID and an ID as police officer, presenting himself as Inspector of the Criminal Police.
The Albanian police say that they were informed by their German colleagues that Taulant Alibeaj is not recognized in the German system, but he is registered at the office of Rotenburg as Xhavit Mornica.
When asked by Top Channel, Alibeaj said he not only has never been arrested, but he was never taken by the police for any other thing.
The former Minister of Justice and Chief of the Public Security Office at the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj, considers the notification of the police as a lie that is spread to silence the opposition.
