The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, accused Prime Minister Edi
Rama of destroying consensus for the justice reform because he wants to
capture justice.

“Justice reform is one of the biggest duties for opening the negotiations with the EU and our vision is for a justice system without corrupted judges and prosecutors, without influence from politics”, Basha declared.

He said that PM rama ios continuing to challenge the will of the West in this important reform.

“Edi Rama and his clan are challenging the European and American will for the justice reform. They want to capture justice with their own pre-made draft”, Basha said.

The leader of the biggest opposition party said that the DP will insist until the end for the consensus and draft of the Venice Commission, the only one that guarantees an independent justice and without political influence.

“We oppose the capturing of justice by the government and of every government that will come tomorrow”, Basha said.

As for the elections, he added, the DP is prepared to compete the Rama-Meta duo. “They are oligarchy, we are democracy”, Basha declared.
