On the 13th day of the hunger strike, the health condition of 10 oil workers is getting worse.
Meanwhile in support of the strikers, dozens of protesters came out today in the center of the town of Ballsh, to block the national road Fier-Ballsh.
On Monday, the children of the oil workers will join the protest. Protesters seek help from the mayor of Ballsh.
Although they are aware that their protest is illegal they are determined to block the national road.
Now at the entrance refinery stands the banner “This is our factory, we want our money”. Meanwhile, other oilmen and their relatives are staying outside in support.
Over time the health condition of the hunger strikers is deteriorating.
Yesterday the head of the oil workers’ union was hospitalized after his health condition deteriorated.
