German Ambassador: “Justice Reform, not only on paper. EU negotiations depend on it”

Celebrations for passing the Justice Reform are over and politics must
work now for its implementation, although the laws need to pass.
The German Ambassador to Tirana says that its implementation will decide the fate of EU negotiations.
“We value the fact that the Justice Reform passed. This is a very important step for Albania and its progress with the EU. But it is very important for this justice reform to be implemented and not just stay on paper. I hope that the seven important laws that should have passed on Thursday, will be voted very soon. Without implementation, the Justice Reform is not worth much. The decision will be taken by the European Commission and the member countries. It depends on when the first steps of implementation will be”, said Susanne Schutz, Ambassador of Germany.
