Rama: “EU should stop telling us fairy tales as they keep petting Serbia”

Rama said that the path of the future cannot be built with backstabs against Albanians and with negative reactions as soon as Kosovo receives an invitation to international institutions.

“Nobody forces us to swallow acts that fall against our philosophy of cooperation. We are determined to have a strategic cooperation with Serbia, but Serbia cannot play this game with double intentions. Serbia blocks Kosovo goods because they want them to have ‘Kosovo and Metohija’ written on. They can keep Metohija, but this is the Republic of Kosovo. Kosovo is the victim here, not Serbia”, Rama said.

“Our European friends must not demand us to bear more than we can handle, as they keep petting Serbia. This is unacceptable. The 100% tax raise on Serbian goods is irrational only in normal, rational conditions. This is a normal answer to Serbia’s actions. We keep supporting Kosovo 100%”, Rama declared.
