The Minister of the Relations with the Parliament resigned today and was
replaced by MP Ermonela Felaj, in a surprise press conference with the
presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

“I hope that his decision, completely based on personal reason, can be the right one. I want to thank him for the dedication and the high moral and professional integrity shown in this difficult duty”, Rama declared.

Celibashi gave no details, but said that he left the duty for personal reasons.

“The reason is completely personal. I hope I haven’t damaged any public interest, but as a responsible citizen I could not have left this decision for another time. This decision does not put I question my trust on Edi Rama as Prime Minister of Albania”, Celibashi declared.

“I want to thank Prime Minister Rama for the trust, and I will express my entire professional, moral and political commitment to be on the level requested in duty that is new for Albania”, declared the newest Minister of the Cabinet, Ermonela Felaj.

Top Channel asked the Prime Minister if there will be changes in the months to come, a known practice for the European governments.

“Reformation doesn’t happen too often in serious countries. Nothing in these 300 days has made me to think about reforming. On the contrary, I can tell you with full sincerity that I had never had enough time to show my gratitude to these Ministers for their dedication. Thanks to their contribution we have reached all the objectives for the first 300 days”, Rama declared.

This declaration comes after some media outlets had declared that the government will change three of its current Ministers.
