Brussels leaves Kosovo unrepresented

EU is not solving the vacuum that was created in Kosovo after the mandate of Peter Faith ended as head of ICO.

According to the daily “Koha Ditore”, although Brussels knew that the mandate of Peter Faith ended in 30 April, no measures were taken.

“EU was not able to prepare something that would have avoided the vacuum created at the International Representative Office in Kosovo. Even the assignment of Ferdinando Gentilini as temporary director has not taken any official confirmation”, says Koha Ditore.

Diplomatic sources declare that the situation has been created as result that not all EU members have recognized Kosovo independence.
