Despite today’s snow, all roads around Tirana have been cleaned.
The Municipality has engaged all vehicles to clean the roads and has also taken measures to shelter homeless people during these days.
“Our snow-cleaning machines are opening rural roads from snow. The Emergency Center in Kombinat is open to anyone who has been left outside in the snow. Help anyone you can by calling 112”, Mayor Veliaj writes on Facebook.
There is also a food bank available with food and clothes for emergencies.
Last year, when Tirana registered the coldest winter in decades, the Municipality sheltered 200 homeless people.
