Rama: Request for visa regime was rejected because Albania didn’t violate any criteria

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, reacted after the European Commission decided to reject the initiative of the Netherlands to bring back the visa regime for the Albanian people.

Rama said that the decision was exactly as the Albanian government was expecting, because the country had not violated any of the critera.

“The European Commission rejected the request of the Dutch Government, and the truth is exactly as we said, when people weren’t believing us. The visa will not be back, because Albania hasn’t violated any criteria”, Rama said.
