Prosecutor General meets Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta

It was officially said that the meeting had the purpose to inform about the situation that was created with the US Ambassador, Donald Lu.

Ambassador Lu accused the PG of blocking the Justice Reform through several actions, from trying to take data from the server of the High Inspectorate for Declaration and Audit of Assets, a server that will be used for the Justice vetting, but also by violating the Constitution with the members of the Justice Appointment Council.

Based on the new Justice Reform, Justice Appointment Council had three members from the Prosecution in its council, and they had to be appointed by lottery. But the Prosecution General brought only three candidate he picked, so they would all be appointed.
