Wherever you go, you can tell that farmers are facing losses each day.
“We were forced to throw our lettuce away. You can sell it with 100 ALL/kg, but the market spot only costs 200, and no one asks how much you invested for the seed, for the fertilizers, fuel, etc”, says Fatbardha Dervishi, a local farmer.
Her family has many members, but agriculture and greenhouses are not enough to feed them. They have to travel to the city through a very bad road, and then try to sell them.
