CNN, special report on Majlinda Kelmendi, Kosovo’s first Olympic medalist

Kosovo’s judo champion Majlinda Kelmendi was invited today on CNN.

The 26-year-old fighter is the biggest sport icon in Kosovo, the first gold medalist who inspires young athletes of many disciplines.

CNN had a dedicated material for the talented girl from Peja, and how she held Kosovo’s flag in the Rio Olympic games, in 2016.

Majlinda Kelmendi won over the world champion, Japanese Misato Nakamura, and against the Italian Giofrida.
