The “Green Guard” operation continues in Lura, with one man under prosecution and another one on the run from police.
The Diber Police Special Crime Department cooperated with the Forest Police and rushed to an area where a man was reported cutting pines near the Gurelure village, a protected area.
They found seven trees that were cut by citizen A.H, who disappeared into the forest right after noticing the presence of the authorities.
Another person was arrested at that night, after he was caught transporting 9 cubic meters of lumber without respective documentation.
