Rama: “Health reform is complex”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, visited this Tuesday the city of
Durres, where he inspected the “Electronic Receipts” project. Rama
underlined that the health reform is complex, and promised that they
will make possible for people to feel the change step by step.
“The health reform is very important, since it influences physically and spiritually those who need health care. The Electronic Receipt will spread throughout the country within the year. We need a more clear panorama of our problems and needs, based on disease statistics”, Rama said.
The Prime Minister underlined that nothing new has been done in the past to reform the health care.
“The former government left it to others to take care of the problems that have been created due to the lack of reforms. The Health Care would have been different today if there were reforms. We are paying the bill of the reforms that were not taken yesterday. The Health Reform is not to guarantee the power of today, but to set the path that establishes what the government should do in the future”, Rama declared.
