Kosovo Customs say that finally, the first Kosovo registered trucks crossed the border with Serbia.

“The first trucks crossed the border and underwent Customs procedures from the border checkpoint “Dheu i Bardhe”, with Kosovo documentations, to the Serbian side of the border”, declared the Kosovo Customs Spokesperson, Adriatik Staliveci for Radio Free Europe.

On September 16th, after the agreement reached in Brussels, Prishtina removed the reciprocity measures and more than 700 Serbian trucks have entered Kosovo since then.

After 11 days, these four Kosovo trucks are the first ones that were allowed to enter Serbia, since the Serbian Customs authorities had not allowed Kosovo vehicles even after the agreement was reached in Brussels.

The Deputy Prime Minister Mimoza Kusari Lila warned that Kosov would return the reciprocity measures if Serbia would continue to block Kosovo Customs stamps.
