Serbian warplanes have been heard this Friday in Presheva, disturbing its ethnic Albanian residents from the early hours and raising concerns about their security.

A similar situation was presented this Wednesday, when KFOR explained that it was no threat from Serbia, just maneuvers from their warplanes.

However, the current tension make residents believe that things are not that simple. The Serbian Army showed their muscles this Thursday, firing ammunition in a drill attack against resurgent forces, in a terrain near Belgrade.

The training called “Synergy 2018” was carried out three days after the Kosovo Police used force to disperse Serbian protesters in Mitrovica, after authorities  had detained Marko Djuric, the Director f the “Kosovo Office” at the Serbian government, who had entered Kosovo without receiving permission from authorities.

The commander of the Serbian army, General Lubisha Kofivic, said that the drill was planned for 2018, although it included 900 soldiers.
