The Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha and the EU Ambassador, Ettore Sequi inaugurated the “Murat Toptani” street.
Basha spoke about the next projects of the Tirana Municipality, while Sequi declared that the EU will continue with the investments even in other cities.
“The works for the city center are continuing rapidly, for rehabilitating the Skenderbej Square. A few days later we will open the competition for prolonging the main artery of the Albanian Capital, from the Train Station to the current Paskuqan Reservoir. Within the first weeks of November we will launch the technical tender for the segment from the Technological School to the Crystal Center, and soon we will announce the tender for the technical design of the Tirana Tram”, Basha declared.
“This project is only one part of the series of projects that the EU is supporting even in other cities, with a value of 9 million EUR.
The participators in the road inauguration walked along the new street and visited the ruins of the Tirana Castle.
