The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, decided to destroy at the border
all agricultural products coming from countries with economic sanctions
against the Russian Federation or that have supported them.
This is a counterresponse to the EU sanctions after the Crimea events. But Top Channel has learned that Albania, despite supporting the sanctions against Russia, is not in this list.
However, since December 2014, Albania has not made any export to Russia, after Russian authorities claimed that the sanitary certifications were false, printed in the Czech Republic. Despite the promises for a solution, Albania is not exporting any agricultural product to the Russian federation, although the weight of them is very insignificant for both economies.
