Police investigators identified two young men as the suspected killers
of Rolanda Kaja, the dead body of which was found eight days earlier,
dropped off into a canal along the Lalëz-Ishëm road.
Police believes that 20,000 EUR and a one year long relation with the 26 year old Lefter Keci, Shijak resident, has brought a fight between the two to the point of murder. However, the Police are still unable to determine the way the woman was killed, due to the fact that Tirana Forensics has not released the report yet. Experts said for Top Channel that the body does not have visible signs of physical trauma, but they are waiting the inner organs examination by toxicology experts, who will see if the woman was killed by any toxic substance or not.
The intense investigations, the phone calls towards the 29 year old Rolanda Kaja and the testimonies of her relatives have enabled Police to identify and arrest on of the suspected killers, while the other, the one who is suspected to have committed the act, is still at large.
Euxhen Muka, with a drug dealing criminal history, has denied any involvement with the murder, but Police evidence has connected him with the crime. The investigating team is working to understand if the young woman has been sexually exploited by the two young men. The police want to clarify if the sexual exploit is consequence of a previous agreement between them and the victim. The arrest of Keci would shed light on the entire story that ended with the execution of the 29 year old mother of two.
