Ne daten 7 shkurt Ukraina do hape qendrat e votimit per balotazhin presidencial mes kandidates filo perendimore Julia Timoshenko dhe atij filo rus Viktor Janukovic.
Por sipas sondazheve me te fundit, ish drejtuesi i Ukraines para revolucionit portokalli, eshte 10 pike para kundershtares, duke u afruar shume me rikthimin ne krye te vendit.
Ne raundin e pare te zgjedhjeve te zhvilluara te dielen, Janukovic mori 35.32 % te votave, ndersa Timoshenko 25.05%. Zhgenjim per ish liderin revolucionit Jushcekno, i cili nuk arriti te marre me shume se 5 %.
