The OSCE Ambassador in Tirana, Eugen Wolfarth, declared that the
fulfilling of the vacancies at the Central Election Commission should be
on the top of the political parties’ agendas.
Referring to the current situation at the highest election institution, Wollfarth declared that the parties should reach an agreement for this issue, and expressed his trust that the Parliament would take a decision about it.
“Completing the Central Election Commission should be on the top of the political parties’ agendas. The political leaders can use their chances for a constructive solution at the Central Election Commission. This is not an appeal, but a desire of mine so that the parties can find a solution for the Central Election Commission issue. I wish that there will be a decision from the Parliament, keeping in mind how important it is to open way to integration, for which an institutional stabilization is needed”, Wollfarth declared during a press release with the media, after an activity held today.
