“The infrastructure and tourist structure has been improved with support
of the tourist operators and Municipality investments, regardless the
complete indifference from the central government and the lack of
investments. We knew how to avoid it”, declared the Mayor of Durres,
Shpetim Gjika.
The Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, took advantage of this activity to introduce the Socialist Party candidates for this city. Rama accused the government of isolating the capital of independence and of blocking development.
“Vlore has changed a lot during these years, but everyone knows that it would have been much better if Tirana had a government that could see Vlore with their heart. Unfortunately, Vlore has not had such a government. They had a government that left Vlore isolated from the rest of Albania”, Rama declared.
“The Socialist Party will start its revival road from Vlore”, Rama declared.
“After the June 23rd elections, Vlore will have the government it needs to be on the level it deserves. For Vlore of Ismail Qemali, of European citizens. We will remove this isolation from Vlore. Our priority is that Vlore, Tirana and all Albania should be connected with the road that this city deserves. This is the capital of independence, the city from where the history of Albania began; the city where the first dream of the Albanian state was created. We will create a development urban plan for Vlore”, Rama declared.
