From the headquarters of the Socialist Party, the country’s elected prime-minister Edi Rama expressed the unequivocal support of the new government for the U.S. and NATO, in their efforts to bring freedom to Syria and to save the Syrian people from the barbaric regime of Bashar al-Assad.
“We will help without doubt and hesitation the United States in every military battle front there is to bring freedom to people and aims the liberation of the peoples from barbaric regimes, which are able to use chemical weapons for their survival. As Albania’s new government, we will always and at any price, at the height of the indelible historic debt we have to allies who supported the Albanians aspiration for freedom and today we support them, to express the revolt towards the Damascus regime and to disappear once and for all the chemical weapons.
We are ready that, after taking our place in the Parliament, we will also fulfill our task to support the Euro Atlantic Alliance with all required operational capabilities to stop the murderous madness against the Syrian people, “said Rama.
I am convinced – Rama said, – that in this respect the Albanian Parliament will be unanimous in front of any request that would come from NATO and we will support the Syrian people in this difficult moment.
