After a declaration made public two days ago, the Socialist Movement for
Integration made official the agreement to cooperate with the Socialist
Party at the Fier District.
This was announced by the vice leader of the SMI, Petrit Vasili, after a meeting he had with the SMI structures in Fier.
“Soon we will have the Fier District under control”, Mr.Vasili declared, adding that the cooperation of the SMI and SP will not be limited only in the districts that have been announced so far, but throughout Albania.
The first cooperation between the SMI and the SP was announced in Tirana and Durres. The Tirana Municipal Council asked an urgent meeting for discharging the head of this council, Njazi Kosovrasti.
This decision was taken after the majority voted the replacement of Ilirjan Muho from the Central Election Commission, with three votes from Socialist MPs who abandoned their party.
