The Democratic Party and its allies gathered to make official their
electoral coalition, which the Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha,
considered as the alliance that will repeat 1992.
The right coalition will be called “Alliance for employment, welfare and integration”. The alliance led by the Democratic Party has parties from the right and the center right. Among these parties is the main ally of the Democratic Party, the Republican Party. The General Secretary of the Democratic Party, Ridvan Bode, published the full list of the coalition and the principles on which it is based.
The Albanian Prime Minister and Democratic Party leader, Sali Berisha, declared that this alliance will bring back the victory of 1992. Berisha also mentioned his political adversaries.
“The Socialist Party leadership has a program that aims to implement the testament of their fathers. In these conditions, we appeal everyone sitting here today to join forces and advance with Albania’s European Union integration path. I am certain that the June 23rd elections will be the best answer of the Albanians for the European Union agenda. Albania has never had such an united alliance as today, and ready to bring the country to a new mandate and excellent victory on the June 23rd elections”, Berisha declared.
