The leader of the Red and Black Alliance, Kreshnik Spahiu, appealed for
the creation of a national pact, and his appeal seems to be made to the
opposition.
According to Spahiu, they need to reach a political-juridical agreement for arresting Prime Minister Berisha, and to promise a referendum for unifying Albania with Kosovo in the next four years.
“May 1st will turn into a day of popular protests and civil disobedience, where every honest citizen tries to change the system. This is the shame in which one who governs Albania becomes part-time patriot or pro-American. He crawls after the European and American partners, and does the opposite as soon as they turn their backs. We are here to appeal to all Albanian youth to vote Red and Black”, he declared.
