On April 4th 2013, a 17-year-old was severely wounded after passing by a
conflict between to other young men. He was shot and immediately
entered in a coma state, to the point that transportation to the
Military Hospital in Tirana was dangerous for his life. But after a
difficult surgery, the Burrel doctors were able to save his life.
“This is the surgery of my life. It is so rare to turn to life a man with such a damage”, declared surgeon Hasan Ceni.
Doctors and relatives waited several days until the child was out of danger. Today, the 17-year-old is in very good conditions.
“I thank good and this doctor for allowing me to live again”, the young man declared.
The father of the 17-year-old boy lost his life one year ago and he was the only survival source for his family.
