Rama: We will restore order in 300 days

“We are committed to hold a very intensive fight against crime in the first 300 days. We will return the State Police in duty and will give the Albanian citizens a serious service, ready to respond to challenges. Certainly we don’t believe that war against crime can end completely within 300 days, but within these 300 days we will make the crime back off and take the situation under control, and establish a new balance between the forces in this battle where crime is currently in advantage”, Rama declared.

Mentioning the recent murders that have taken place in our country, Rama reiterated that besides reinforcing the police structure, their work in terrain will change and crime will not have anymore advantages. The Socialist government will focus on the causes that increase crime.

“The battle for finding the causes of crimes is important. A battle that will be held every day for the next four years. Only in the last 48 hours, three people have died in Albania and this has become normal, no one sees a scandal there anymore. People are used to see innocent people losing their lives in an unsafe environment”, Rama declared.

The Socialist Party MP, Sajmir Tahiri, declared that the State Police has turned into a party institution that is used for electoral purposes and works only for the people in charge. Tahiri added that the goal of the Socialist Party is to improve the image of the police.
