The Kukes aqueduct is one of the biggest investments given for this Municipality in the past years.
A fund of millions of EUR aimed resolving the water supply issue, but the construction was delayed and the Municipality is looking for an investigation, since the investments was not complete.
Many families in Kukes have no regular water supply, and one single day of heavy rains in Kukes could flood the aqueduct.
The water is unusable and pollution has been noted by hygiene specialists.
The water pollution takes place due to heavy rains, while no one has tried to find a solution, although the new aqueduct construction was over.
