The lobbying Podesta Company has been involved in a scandal by censuring
and manipulating the position held by the United States of America
regarding the recent political situation in Albania.
In an e-mail for the international media, Podesta changed the sentence of Jonathan Moore by remocing the critics about the Albanian Parliament voting on the Central Electoral Commission issue.
Jonathan Moore who arrived in Tirana after the political climate had created tensions, declared that they believe that there is a strong legal argument that puts into question the way how the Parliament voted the motion to remove the CEC member.
According to Moore, the US desires that the CEC works properly and if this doesn’t happen, the elections cannot be held on June 23rd.
“We will see how the process goes and we are concerned by what we have seen, the high level of political tensions, and for the fact that these elections are starting again with questions and accusations about its legitimacy”, Moore declared.
