Plastic thrown in rivers destroys nature around them and seas

Now that the water level has dropped, plastic bags can be seen everywhere, but not only. There are also plastic bottles and even old TV.

“The entire water and food chain have been contaminated by this waste. The rest ends up in the sea, where it is consumed by fishes which we think are wild, and tastier. This waste needs 400 years to be degraded. This shows not only the failure of our civilian culture, but also the failure of the local government”, said Gjergj Bojaxhi, an activist.
